With much attention and care, brochures and catalogs are designed and produced. Our representatives are preparing to visit both new and existing customers and view locations for new plants. The new bulb season will start in August, but sales are already starting.
The pre-purchase of the spring flower bulb mixes starts.
Employees are working hard to clean the warehouse after a very busy bulb season.
It is the time first flower bulbs peak through the ground. That is why the representatives travel to see locations with plants and how they turn out.
One of our services is maintenance. During this period our employees are busy with the upkeep of various locations at public areas.
While the representatives are still traveling with their cars, our own truck drivers are driving around the country. To deliver the most beautiful perennials and summer flower bulbs.
At the same time maintenance work is done at various locations.
This month is also the opening of the most beautiful flower garden in the world: De Keukenhof!
Planting perennials and 'in the Green' products.
Also doing maintenance at various locations.
The month of May is a busy month for deliveries of bedding plants.

While many people go on holiday, the sunflower seeds are sown by our potting machine.
The pots will be standing on the shelfs the coming weeks, to grow in peace and with the right care. Just before the plant is blossoming they are delivered to the customers.
At our barn it is super busy; the flower bulbs are delivered by various transport companies. Now the inspection, counting, mixing and packaging can start immediately.
Although the pre-purchase of the spring flower was in the beginning of the year, bulbs are still being bought.
The packaging is in process and the boxes will be sent as soon as possible.
We also start the mechanically planting of the flower bulbs.
The packaging is still in process.
At various locations in The Netherlands, we plant the bulbs with our traditional planting machine. We also have special planting machines, which makes it possible to plant directly between trees or other obstacles. And even planting machines doing all of these jobs.
The bulb stock gradually shrinks in the barn.
In The Netherlands, England and Germany there is still plenty of machine planting going on. This happens, among other things, with a planter who puts a lot of work on slopes (can be used for projects with an slope angle up to 35 degrees).
The last bulbs roll off the counting machine and the end is in sight of this busy bulb season. The representatives call their customers for the last autumn promotion.
The management and the staff close the year with a little party and enjoy a well-deserved Christmas holiday.
